Born and raised in Rome, Chef Luca will take a culinary journey to Tuscany. Chef Luca had spent many of his summers working in the heart of Tuscany. He will showcase his knowledge of Tuscan cooking by demonstrating, step-by-step, how each course is prepared. Following each stage, the courses will be served with matching wines at a table in his kitchen.
It will be an interactive evening with plenty of opportunity for discussion as we celebrate all that is special about Tuscan cuisine.
Along with matching wines, the menu will include:
- Panzanella crostini and salami toascano – Traditional fresh tomato salad with crisp crostini and fennel salami plate
- Pici all’ aglione – Traditional Tuscan pici pasta with tomato sugo and garlic.
- Pollo Cacciatora – Traditional hunters slow braised chicken casserole in tomato with cannellini beans and sage
- Torta Mantovana – A soft and fragrant almond cake served with cream
